The Puppy Songs Story

When the live entertainment world shut down in early 2020, Matt Hobbs found himself stuck at home with his two pups (Leni and Marley) singing silly songs to them all day (like usual).

Before long, Matt began experimenting with recording fully-produced versions of these short, silly songs - and posting them on Instagram on TikTok. It didn’t take long for many of the songs to see rapid viral growth, and Puppy Songs was born.

“I needed a mega dose of things that make me feel happy - like silly, ridiculous songs and dogs - so I created Puppy Songs to fill that need for me. I’m incredibly fortunate to have found a community of folks who enjoy that sort of thing as well.”

Since its inception in 2020, Puppy Songs has been featured on NPR “All Things Considered,” People, The TODAY Show, The Wildest, Daily Paws, and many other news outlets.
